It looks like that is exactly what the NYPD received from their Twitter followers @NYPDNews Tuesday afternoon after launching a photo tweet campaign.
PHONE APPS TO CATCH COPS IN THEIR LIES
Clearly the NYPD wanted "Positive" pictures with citizens smiling and laughing with the cops. The plan went far left and someone will probably be suspended or fired from the New York Police Department today.
The pictures were taken down so quickly that we weren't able to snatch them, but sites like RT News secured a few.
