Music mogul Quincy Jones is responsible for producing Jacksons "Off the Wall", "Thriller" and "Bad" sued Michael Jackson's estate on Friday, seeking millions of dollars in royalties.
The music producer claimed Sony Music Entertainment and Epic Records are in breach of contract from profiting from the concert film "This Is It. Jones says both companies have denied him royalties, fees and profit-sharing as they exploited Jackson's work.
His claim, brought in Los Angeles Superior Court, also mentioned two Cirque du Soleil productions based on Jackson's music, accompanying soundtracks and the 25th anniversary edition of "Bad".
